Why do I continually need weed control?
In order to keep a plush green yard you have to get rid of the weeds because their in direct competition for water, space and nutrients. To prevent weeds from your beautiful green grass a regular fertilizing program and the proper amount of watering in recommended. To prevent weeds from taking over your yard all you have do is have lush green grass and stick to the program.

Why do I need 5 applications?
As licensed applicators we are continually analyzing your yard on each application and making sure your yard is weed free and disease free while feeding your yard to make it thick and green. Your yard is not going too magically stay green and weed free without constant attention. Everything you own needs up keep as a home owner your yard is also one them. So in order to keep your yard nice and green and weed free we recommend 5 applications.

When can my family safely enjoy the yard?
The product dries quickly on hot days but Stay off the yard for 24 hours as a safety precaution. Once the product is dry you will not get any of the products on you, your children, or your pets.

What is the proper cutting height and should I bag my yard?
Mowing height in most areas is 2 ½ to 3 inches is recommended for most yards, it could differ in some yards. During the hot parts of the year (July and August) ½ inch to an inch higher than you normally cut at is recommended. The last cutting of the year before winter 2 to 2 ½ without scalping is recommended. Bagging is not the way to go unless your yard is too long. You want to keep the clippings on the yard because it’s a great form of nutrients for your yard.

How much water does my yard need?
If it’s that time of the year when Mother Nature decides to take a break you typically need 1 to 2 inches of water weekly. You can put out two or three cans about the same size from the furthest point of watering. Time how long it takes to fill the cans ½ to 1 inch that’s how long you should water your lawn. Normally water about 20 to 30 minutes in each area unless there is noticeable stress, like yellowish areas then water longer. The best time to water is 4am to 8am or right before dusk.
